Having won seven of their last eight matches in Serie A, Lazio have put themselves right into contention for a coveted top four spot.
Registering some excellent wins in this purple patch, which has included a thumping 3-0 win over AC Milan, a neat win over Hellas Verona and a vital victory over Spezia, they’re getting things together right when it matters.
Even though they’re letting in goals at an alarming rate, something their exhilarating 4-3 win over Genoa, 5-3 triumph over Benevento and 5-2 loss to Napoli depicts, their attack has crucially been firing on all cylinders to rack up the points.

Bagging 21 goals in their last eight league fixtures, their offensive threat has been such an asset for them, with the likes of Ciro Immobile and Joaquin Correa especially catching fire. Ably supported by Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto, these four have been a key catalyst behind their success.
Currently sitting five points off fourth placed AC Milan with a game in hand, Lazio will be confident they can qualify for the Champions League and keep rising up the table. Indeed, considering the current quartet ahead of them in Atalanta, Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli are all separated by just two points at present, Simone Inzaghi’s men will be keen to take advantage of any missteps by their rivals.
With games still to come up against Fiorentina, Parma, Roma in the derby, Torino and Sassuolo, they’ll certainly back themselves to obtain Champions League qualification again.
Priced at 3.33 to claim a top four finish, the closing stages will be unmissable in Serie A, with Lazio unquestionably in with a decent shout. If they can tighten up their leaky defence and keep blasting home the goals, then there’s every chance they can turn their top four dream into a reality come season’s end.
